Relationship Between Circular Economy and Sustainable Development Goals
As part of webinar series in the project of Circular Economy Integration for Sustainable Built Environment Education led by Prof Usha Iyer-Raniga and funded by UNU, the second webinar of "Relationship between circular economy and sustainable development goals" is scheduled at 5.00pm to 6.30pm AEDT on 8 December 2022. It is an online session with a focus on how circular economy can be considered as a tool to meet the SDGs, and ultimately meet sustainability outcomes. This webinar will be presented by the five participating universities: RMIT, University of Peradeniya, TERI School of Advanced Studies, Asian Institute of Technology, and Arabaev Kyrgyz State University. The webinar will discuss the relationship between CE and SDGs. 5 universities will provide their presentation on the case studies with an in-depth analysis of CE implementation and how to achieve SDGs.

Professor Usha Iyer-Raniga is at the School of Property and Construction Management at RMIT University. Usha is co-leading the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Buildings and Construction Programme (SBC), United Nations 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (UN 10FYP SCP) aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12, as well as the newly formed Integrated Platform for Circular Economy, Climate Resilience, and Energy. This webinar is directly related to the work of teh OPN SBC programme.
